One step closer

For my birthday, today, we have our appointment at the immigration office! After this is done, we wait for our approval letter and then we should be able to roll! Next is completed documents, final check and prayer and off they go and then waiting for a travel date?, please pray for Whittaker during this time. He is in a very bad place. Pray for speed and accuracy of all the paperwork! Thank you friends! Appreciate all the prayers and any funding that has been given to get these kids home. The hardest part is knowing and seeing all the kids not going home. It is beyond horrific. We need more families! Thank you and have a blessed day! We can all do more than we think we can through Christ!

1 year of Freedom

Sergei is celebrating 1 full year of freedom today! This is the day that he was released from a life in a crib! This was a total God thing because Crimea was taken over by Russia just 2 days before, making travel and other things very dangerous to get in and back out of Crimea! Sergei is probably the last child out of Crimea since Russia bans adoption to US citizens! Brian was then stuck over there until the 1st of April, unable to get his passport completed due to the Russian take over. We are now praying for another miracle for another sweet boy stuck in a different but even more horrific place!! We need to get there ASAP!! If you feel led to help us with funding we would be so honored. Any amount is helpful. The freedom of these children does not come cheap!! Thank you to all that hear God's calling to help the orphan! Waiting

Waiting on paperwork to most is a pain, but to some it is a daily battle to stay alive. Friday marked the one year anniversary of Sergei's court date! This was his first step to freedom, although he then had to endure another 10 days before true freedom began. Where he could be fed when hungry, held when scared, changed when wet and loved! 10 dat wait required after court until allowed to leave the orphanage. Friday is the day we found out that our new little 4 year old was no longer in the safety of the baby house! Yes he was transferred to a place with a horrible reputation, one with a mortality rate of 90+% within the first year of being transferred. A place where it is a daily struggle to stay alive. Endless hopelessness and suffering! They did not want to wait any longer for this family that said they were coming! We have hit many delays in our paperwork. Every day that it takes us, is another day for this poor kiddo to try to hold on. He doesn't even know someone is trying to free him from hell on earth! He is not the only one in this place. Please please pray for his protection! Please pray for the others stuck here as well. Pray for a change on how people and children with disabilities are treated! This new place makes Sergei's institution look like the Hilton! Sergei age 6 plus years old, weighing 15 pounds, this was his condition when he got him out. If you can help us with funding that would be a blessing but we really need prayers for this boy and for our paperwork to be done and for a quick travel date. May God bless you! Thank you! Why not?

Have you ever had that desire to adopt but told yourself this wouldn't be possible or just too hard?Don't let that voice of negativity and doubt stop you. There are so many kids all around the world depending on someone to be brave and step out and take the challenge! Adoption, never easy but so worth all the work! Don't wait another day! Inquire about it or encourage someone else that has shared their desire to possibly adopt. A voice of encouragement could mean the difference between life and death for a child. Thank you for taking time today to pray for all the waiting children and also  praying for families to be encouraged to follow through.

Our update...waiting for immigration and then our papers should be ready to fly across the ocean! Can't wait!! Praying our kiddos are not suffering and still at the orphanages for the younger children.

Crosby is walking!! Not even home a year yet!! And Sergei is still recovering from his leg surgery. Both boys are a HUGE blessing to our family. Each day they add more joy!
