Common question

I'm taking a break from our story of adoption ....

Here is the common question that seems to be on some people's minds and it does make sense if you don't know about issues in other countries and the orphan crisis. I will attempt to answer this so people understand the need for us and many other families to raise funds for adoptions . First is the question of how can you put a price tag on a child's life?

Yes international adoption is very expensive and this is one reason we have always shyed away from this.  In fact research shows many people are interested in adopting but the costs deter them. But now we are stepping out in faith to provide a home for 2 more. We are asking for financial help if you feel led.

In other countries children, especillay the those with special needs are shut away from society. In Eastern Europe these children are usually transferred from a baby orphanage to an adult mental institution at the age of 4.There are rows of cribs and few workers. The children then spend the rest of their lives in their crib...a prison with no escape! They do not go outside, they do not have hugs or kisses or stories, no stimulation. Day after day complete nothingness...can you imagine having to live like this? I encourage you to read a book entitled "The Boy from Baby House 10".

Please consider helping a family adopt. Any amount is helpful and of course prayers are the most important thing for orphans around the world....pray for change, pray for more families to adopt, pray for church and community involvement and pray, pray, pray! Thank you........
